Friday Favorites

Well here we are again – FRIDAY!  My blogging was a bit slow this week as I had no content.  I ate food I’d prepped earlier in the week.  I worked out.  I worked.  I walked the dog.  Nothing earth shattering.  I’m happy.  I feel great.  All is good, but I had nothing for you.  Even today I had to think hard about what to write about.  Thankfully my brain is working today, so I got you, boo!!

First thing’s first, it’s 2 weeks until my birthday.  Just saying.

Here are a few things that are floating my boat these days!

Beaux Freres Pinot.   You guys, this is an AMAZING Pinot.  It’s big, it’s juicy, it’s everything a Pinot should be and more.  I drank this last night and was literally in heaven.

Anyone else excited to see this movie? It opens today.

The 15:17 to Paris is a 2018 American biographical thriller film produced and directed by Clint Eastwood and written by Dorothy Blyskal, based on the autobiography The 15:17 to Paris: The True Story of a Terrorist, a Train, and Three American Soldiers by Jeffrey E. Stern, Spencer StoneAnthony Sadler and Alek Skarlatos. The film stars Stone, Sadler and Skarlatos as themselves and follows the trio as they stop the 2015 Thalys train attackJudy Greer and Jenna Fischer also star.”

It stars the guys who lived it!!  I am going to see it for sure.

It’s no secret that Instagram is my favorite social media platform. I just dig it and I think the team behind updates and stories is doing a great job.  The only thing that I, along with a million others, wish is that they’d go back to a chronological timeline.  But, I’m not here to complain.  I’m here to share about a morning show that I’m honestly obsessed with.  I’d guess many of you on Instagram follow Girl With No Job.  She’s a meme queen and pretty funny.  Years ago I started following her sister, Jackie, aka JackieOProblems and she’s become one of my favorite people.  Last year, they started doing live morning show called The Morning Breath.  It quickly gained a following and has grown since.  It’s become my guilty pleasure.  If you want a good laugh, check it out.  They report on what they call the “Fast Five Stories you need to know before you wake up and smell your own morning breath!”  Here’s a teaser – I don’t know, I love them!

Alright, that’s all for me on this fine Friday.  Have a great weekend, everyone! Come back next week, I’ll be sharing my recipe for Sesame Seared Ahi with Coconut Rice!

Cheers!
